If you’ve ever been to the farm, you know what an integral part of the team Milo is! Our vision is that the farm is a working and living environment that is 100% child inclusive for our 8-year old son. We believe that the farm is the perfect learning environment for a child… especially for Milo.

Growing food is our passion, and it's a passion that we want to share in every way possible. This is why for the second year running we’re bringing you our Farmer to Gardener webinar series; an opportunity to share our veg growing knowledge with all of the enthusiastic home gardeners out there! Whether you have been growing food for years, or are just starting out, Farmer Jo will have tips and tricks to take your vegetable garden to the next level.

Believe it or not we’re still eating delicious locally grown eggplant here in Ottawa in the depth of winter. No, we don’t have a secret stash of plants that we’re harvesting from, we’re pulling it already grilled from the freezer and throwing it straight into our favourite recipes. This is the ‘trick’ to eating local all season long, and it really isn’t tricky at all!

CSA is so much more than an acronym. Three letters cannot encapsulate all that our vegetable baskets are, and the life-changing experience they offer to members. When you register for our CSA you aren’t simply signing up for a weekly basket of vegetables. You are registering for an innovative local food experience!
