Autumn sights and smells have begun and nature is blessing us with such abundance! We’ve been seeding greens for fall and winter baskets, harvesting mountains of luscious summer tomatoes and peppers, and working to store the roots and shoots that will fill Winter CSA baskets all through the snowy winter.

Winter is coming! It's a few months off but we're already looking forward to the crisp days, cozy nights, and a kitchen filled with comforting local food. Yes, you read that right - local food in Ottawa all winter long!

Root vegetables are the backbone of the Winter CSA. Every week you come to pick up your veggies you’ll get to fill up your basket from our smorgasbord of organic root veggies - some familiar friends, and some you’ve maybe never seen before! That’s one of the beauties of CSA - the opportunity to try new and unique vegetables that you’ve never heard of before.

The Farm Store might be closed for the season, but this year you can add some of your favourite Farm Fresh products to your Winter CSA! With the Winter CSA Add-on program you can order eggs, milk, baked goods, or meat to your CSA and pick them up at the Farm with your CSA. Easy peasy!
