Végé Pâté

What can’t you use this pâté for? Think snack time with carrots, on an arugula salad, in a sandwich, or with our amazing egg wraps!

Végé Pâté

⅓ C olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
3 carrots, grated
2 medium yellow potatoes, peeled & chopped
1 C sunflower seeds
⅔ C all-purpose flour
½ C nutritional yeast
3 T soya sauce
1 T cider vinegar
1 t dried oregano
1 t dried basil
¾ t salt
Pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 375f.

In a pan, over medium heat, saute onion in oil for 5 min. Add celery, carrots & potatoes & cook for 8 min over low heat, stirring regularly. Remove from heat, add remaining ingredients & mix well.

Blend half of the mixture in a blender or food processor. Add to the remaining mixture and mix well.

Transfer mixture to a oiled or parchment lined loaf pan, 13”x9”. Bake in oven for 45 min. Chill before serving.
