The Best of Both Worlds

The best of both worlds!

The frost graced a few farms last night and it reminded me how quickly the greens and soft, plump harvest of summer comes to an end only to make way for fall's heartier stems and root vegetables.

I love that being a farmer means rolling with the seasons. I love that what I grow and eat shifts with the weather. I love this time of year when I can still pluck sweet cherry tomatoes from the vine and combine it with hearty kale in a salad.

Getting the best of both worlds, is also why we've put together a little incentive to get all you veggie-lovers ready for winter!

Friends Feed Friends offer..

When you become a farm member and order your 6 bi-weekly Winter-Time Bounty basket subscription and your friend orders a basket, too, you both get a FREE Fall Harvest Farmer’s Choice box.

**The Fall Harvest Farmer's Choice box is a mix of everything fresh coming out of the field that week! It's usually a $30-$40 value and will fill your fridge with organic vegetable goodness.

How, in these times of social distancing, do you invite a friend to sign up with you?

May we suggest:

a) Forwarding this week’s newsletter to 3 or more people letting them know you’d love to order with them (so that you both get the Fall Harvest Farmer’s Choice box FREE!)

b) Sharing our Friends Feed Friends Instagram Story or Instagram post with your following & asking “Who wants to sign up with me?”

c) Sharing our Friends Feed Friends Facebook post (on our page @OttawaFarmFresh) with your followers & asking “Who wants to sign up with me?”
