We love carrots!
Crunchy, sweet, versatile, and oh so delicious; if any veggie deserves its own festival, it’s the beautiful carrot.
And we’re thrilled to announce that our 6th Annual Carrot Fest is happening on Saturday, September 27 from 10am–1pm (with a rain date of Saturday, October 4).

Carrot Fest is more than a party, it’s a community harvest!
Together, we’ll pull, clean, and celebrate the thousands of pounds of carrots that will nourish our community all winter long. The very carrot you pick might end up in your CSA basket or on your table in the depths of January!
Community Carrot Harvesting: Grab your boots and roll up your sleeves, it’s time to get your hands (and maybe your knees) a little muddy! You can enjoy a U-Pick adventure, but the real fun comes from helping us gather and store mountains of crunchy, sweet carrots that will keep our community fed all winter long.
Live Music: Get ready for toe-tapping tunes to keep the harvest energy flowing!
Delicious Food: Come hungry! Dain from Burrell Farms will be serving up his famous jerk BBQ, always a crowd favourite, along with some incredible new veggie options this year.
Mini-Market & Farm Store: Stock up on local goodness while you’re here. Alongside our fully stocked Farm Store, you’ll find delicious Top Shelf preserves and beautiful creations from Xenapotheca.

Harvest festivals have brought communities together for thousands of years. At a time when so many of us are disconnected from our food, Carrot Fest is our way of rekindling that connection - to the land, to each other, and to the joy of shared abundance.
It’s going to be a day of muddy hands, big smiles, and the deep satisfaction of working side by side to bring in a harvest that will sustain us all winter long.
