7th Annual Carrot Fest - Saturday, September 26

Carrot Fest is a day when our community comes together to harvest thousands of pounds of carrots that will nourish us throughout the winter.

On Saturday, September 26 from 10am-2pm we’ll get our hands in the soil and work side by side to pick, wash, and pack the harvest, and then celebrate with good food, music, local vendors, and plenty of community fun.

And there’s something pretty special about it: the very carrot you pick might end up on your table in the depths of winter!

This year, we’ve planted more carrots than ever, so we’re planning our biggest Carrot Fest yet!

What to expect:
* Thousands of pounds of carrots to harvest
* Live music (11am - 1pm)
* Carrot fermenting workshops
* Food from Forklore and WholeFood Delights (11am-2pm) ($$)
* Local vendors ($$)
* U-pick carrots ($$)
* Organic Farm Store ($$)

Carrot Fest is more than a party, it’s a community harvest

Harvest festivals have brought people together for thousands of years. At a time when so many of us feel disconnected from our food, this is our chance to reconnect, with the land, with our food, and with each other.

Expect muddy hands, big smiles, good food, music, and the deep satisfaction of bringing in a harvest together.

Mark your calendars: Saturday, September 26 from 10am-2pm.

We can’t wait to see you in the fields!
