We love carrots! Crunchy, sweet, versatile, and oh so delicious! If any veggie deserves its own festival, it’s the beautiful carrot!
Join us on Saturday, October 12 from 10am-3pm to celebrate this humble root and contribute to the community effort of harvesting, washing, and storing over 10,000 pounds of carrots for the winter!

These carrots will fill the Winter CSA baskets, so the very carrot you harvest might warm your spirits on a cold winter day!

If you haven’t joined us before, let us share what makes Carrot Fest so special!
For thousands of years, communities have united to bring in the harvest, preserving food for the winter. As we become more disconnected from food production, these moments of collective effort are rare. We want to change that!
Come join us in the fields to help harvest thousands of pounds of carrots, connect with the land and people who grow your food, and learn what it takes to cultivate and harvest the nourishment that sustains you all year long.
This year, the carrots will be in the lower field towards the railway line, so please keep in mind that there will be a short walk or drive up to the main farm fields and Farm Store. Plan your visit accordingly!
It’s going to be an unforgettable day filled with fun and the satisfaction of knowing we’re making a difference for our community and the environment.
Don’t miss this chance to be part of something meaningful and enjoy a day of hands-on harvest fun. We can’t wait to see you there and share in the joy of Carrot Fest together!
