WAITLIST Bulk Organic Tomatoes for Canning
PRE Orders are Sold Out!
Fear not though!!
You can still swing by the farm store during tomato season to buy surplus tomatoes if available... or join the wait-list by going through the checkout process below for this zero dollar item. We'll contact you if we have surplus, and you can simply pay for your order when you come pick it up.
Whether you're making homemade sauce, salsa, sun-dried tomatoes, or stocking your freezer or pantry for the winter, our tomatoes are simply the best in Ottawa.
We grow both paste tomatoes and round tomatoes. Here's the difference:
Round Tomatoes
Sweet, juicy, and versatile. Ideal for fresh eating in salads and sandwiches, as well as salsas, soups, and classic tomato sauce.
Paste Tomatoes
Small, dense, and perfect for sauces, ketchup, salsa, and canning. With fewer seeds and thick, meaty flesh, they cook down beautifully and deliver rich, concentrated flavour.
Choose Your Tomato Option:
Farmer's Choice (Most Popular!)
You'll receive whichever variety is most abundant at the time of your pick-up. Most Farmer's Choice orders will be round tomatoes, but depending on the harvest, you may receive paste tomatoes instead. Boxes are not mixed. Each box contains either all round tomatoes or all paste tomatoes. If you order more than 20 lbs, you may receive some boxes of each variety, depending on availability.
Paste Tomatoes Only
If you know you want only paste tomatoes (also known as Roma or plum tomatoes), this is the option for you. You'll receive 100% paste tomatoes.
Round Tomatoes Only
If you'd like to receive only round tomatoes, please select the Farmer's Choice option when ordering, then email us at info@ottawafarmfresh.com with your order number and let us know you'd prefer round tomatoes only. (Yes, we're thinking of you, Jim!)
A $3 deposit is charged for each tomato box ($3 per 20 lb box) to cover the cost of the packaging. The deposit will be fully refunded when the boxes are returned.

Please Note: Our bulk tomatoes are grown for preserving, so some may have minor cosmetic imperfections. They may not all be picture-perfect, but they're absolutely ideal for preserving!
