Buffalo Chicken Alfredo with Sweet Potato Pasta

Did you know that you can make noodles out of a sweet potato?! It's true! Spiralizers are easy to find at most stores these days, and soon enough you too will be spiralizing ever fruit and vegetable in your kitchen!

Buffalo Chicken Alfredo with Sweet Potato Pasta

1 C heavy cream (sub coconut cream or even plain milk)

1 T butter 

4 t starch 

2 T hot sauce 

Pinch of salt and pepper 

¼ t garlic powder 

¼ t chili powder 

1 lb chicken (or tofu), cooked

3 sweet potatoes, spiralized 

2-3 T oil
    -
Combine the cream, butter, starch, hot sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder in a saucepan. Heat until thick, whisking the whole time. Set aside. 

In a saucepan, heat oil over medium heat and cook sweet potato noodles until cooked through.

Combine the noodles with the sauce and chicken and enjoy!

Farm Fresh tip: Feel free to add some greens to the pan at the end of the noodle cooking time, spinach or kale work well.
