As the 2025 season draws to a close, we find ourselves pausing in gratitude - taking a breath, looking back, and honouring all the year has held.
This was our longest season ever, stretching from February to December, and like all seasons, it came with plenty of highs, a few lows, and lots of lessons along the way.
The summer drought definitely tried to steal the spotlight, bringing crop losses and some real challenges for our irrigation pond. And yet, it also revealed something beautiful: you. In our moment of uncertainty, our community showed up with care, generosity, and shared purpose. The concern, encouragement, and support that poured into our irrigation pond expansion fundraiser reminded us that we’re growing more than just food out here.
And then there were the people. Wow!
This season’s crew, from field team to Farm Store staff, returning and new faces, seasonal folks and volunteers, came together with an ease and joy that felt magical. High vibes, good laughs, hard work, and a sense that everyone was rowing in the same direction made this season truly special.
Now, as we tuck the Farm in for a little winter rest, we’re already dreaming about what’s ahead. Big things are quietly brewing for 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome you back on February 5. Until then, thank you to every single person who helped make this season what it was. You are what makes this place come alive.
We’re excited to welcome you back when the Farm Store re-opens on February 5!
As we settle into the deep winter stretch, we’ll be taking Fridays off, turns out it’s our quietest day of the week, so plan your visits around our updated schedule.
