The carrots are just about ready, the team is getting prepped, and all systems are go for our 7th Annual Carrot Fest!
Carrot Fest is our biggest event of the year, and one we look forward to all year long.
There’s something pretty special about bringing people together in the fields, getting our hands in the dirt, and celebrating the harvest together.

What exactly is Carrot Fest?
At its heart, Carrot Fest is a harvest festival.
For thousands of years, communities have come together to bring in the harvest, working side by side to gather and preserve the food that would sustain them through the winter.
These days, most of us are pretty disconnected from where our food comes from. Planting, weeding, harvesting - all the messy, hands-in-the-dirt work happens somewhere else, far removed from our kitchens.
We think that’s something worth changing.
So come join us in the fields! Help us harvest thousands of pounds of carrots, connect with the land and the people who grow your food, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to cultivate, harvest, and store the nourishment that sustains us all year long.
And carrots? Well, they might just be the most satisfying crop to harvest.
You never quite know what you’re going to get when you grab those green tops and pull. Tiny carrot? Giant carrot? Weirdly shaped carrot? Purple carrot? Every pull is a surprise.
All day at Carrot Fest, we hear shouts of surprise, laughter, and delight as people uncover their carrots. It’s ridiculously fun.

But Carrot Fest is about more than carrots!
We’ll have food, live music, local vendors, face painting, and demonstrations to turn the Farm into a proper celebration of the harvest.
This Year It's Two Saturdays of Carrot-y Fun
This year, Carrot Fest is happening over two Saturdays, September 26 and October 3.
We’ve grown more beautiful organic carrots than ever, and we’re going to need a lot of helping hands to bring them all in!
We’re on track to harvest more than 10,000 lbs of carrots, and as a small farm, there’s only so many carrots (and carrot-pulling humans) we can fit in the fields at once! Spreading the harvest and festivities over two weekends means we can bring in all those carrots and give more people the chance to join the fun.
So come for one Saturday, or come to both! Pull carrots, listen to music, eat some good food, meet your neighbours, and celebrate the harvest with us.
Twice the carrots. Twice the fun. Twice the chances to get your hands dirty!
