CSA Member FAQ

Thank you for taking the time to read our CSA member FAQ page to answer any questions you may have. Responding to emails takes us away from the very important work of growing super organic veggies for you, so we hope that you're able to find the answers to your questions here.

4 Steps to CSA Success

Step #1 - Come to the Farm anytime during opening hours and head for the Farm Store.

Step #2 - Take a look at the board and see which veggies we’re suggesting for each basket size this week. Our CSA is super flexible so you can either choose to fill your basket with what we’ve suggested or make substitutions based on how you're feeling this week.

Step #3 - Head to the check out with your order number and get checked out.

Step #4 - Head home and savour all of that Farm Fresh goodness!

If you have any questions about how the CSA works please take a look at the CSA FAQ page first.

Bring something to carry your veggies home in, maybe in a few different sizes (ie. small bags or containers for small items like radishes and cherry tomatoes, as well as a bigger bag or crate to carry everything.)

Please be mindful when entering and exiting the Farm. We are located at the top of a hill and our driveway is only wide enough for one car at a time. We want to keep everyone safe so please:
When you are entering, come to a complete stop before turning into the driveway to ensure there aren’t any oncoming vehicles on Ramsayville Rd. or cars approaching the exit from the Farm.
When exiting the driveway, approach the exit slowly to ensure there isn’t a vehicle in the process of entering the Farm.

The Farm Store has expanded significantly since last season and we are stocking a wide variety of local products and we’ll be adding more throughout the season. You will be able to pick up additional items when you’re in the Farm Store selecting your CSA veggies and then check out all in one transaction at the end. Check out the Farm Store page for more information about the extras you'll find in store.

We encourage you to make an outing of coming to pick up your CSA. Take a stroll around the Farm, bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic or ice cream in the shade, and take part in some of the activities we have planned over the summer - keep an eye out for details every week in the newsletter, and on social media.

     Q & A

When can I come pick up my basket? Can I come whenever I want?

You can come anytime during our Farm Store opening hours, Friday & Saturday 11am-5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm.

I forgot to pick up my basket this week, what do I do?!

Worry not! You can come and get a double basket the next week, or any other week through the summer.

I don't remember how many weeks of vacations I took or what size basket I ordered, what should I do?
There are three answers to this question:
    1. Log in to your account on our website and you'll be able to see all of the orders you've placed with us. Here it will tell you how many vacation weeks you booked.
    2. Check for the confirmation email that we sent after you placed your CSA order, the details will be there.
    3. Ask us the next time you come pick up your basket.
Can I buy more than what I paid for?
Of course! The Farm Store has expanded significantly since last season and we are stocking a wide variety of local products and we’ll be adding more throughout the season. You will be able to pick up additional items when you’re in the Farm Store selecting your CSA veggies and then check out all in one transaction at the end. We accept cash, debit, and credit at the Farm Store.
What if I want to upgrade?
Amazing! We're so glad that you love our organic veggies! You can definitely upgrade to a larger sized CSA basket, simply ask in the Farm Store at your next visit.
Can I send someone else to pick up my veggies?
Definitely! Simply give them your order number and email address and they'll be able to pick up your basket without issue.
