Has this subtle seasonal shift started the gardening wheels turning in your head? As soon as February hits I start feeling the itch to get my hands in some dirt and start planting seeds.
Gardening means a lot to me. It’s not just a hobby, it’s a fundamental part of who I am. It calms my mind, connects me to the wonder of nature, produces nourishing food for my family, and provides me with endless learning opportunities. There are few things I find more satisfying than tending a tiny seed and watching it flourish into a vigorous plant that can provide sustenance for my family. There is nothing like it.
Over the next few weeks we’re going to be bringing you a wealth of growing tips and tricks straight from the farmer's mouth. Jonathan has spent decades learning his craft, and he loves nothing more than using his years of experience to help others on their growing journeys.
