Frost Protection Row Cover
Protect your crops from the early fall frosts!
Did you know that you could be eating greens fresh from the garden all the way to November? It's not too late to plant! You can still plant bok choi and Radishes until September 7th and Spinach and Arugula until September 14th!
The key is to cover your crops with row cover once the nights start to be consistently frosty in October. Just make sure to harvest your greens on a sunny day when they have defrosted! If you harvest when they are frozen they will turn to mush as they defrost.
Protect your tomatoes, beans, cukes, and zukes till 0c, -1c, or maybe even -2c if you're lucky.
Protect your lettuce, parsley, and chard until -5c
Protect your arugula and brassica greens until -7c
